We were contacted by this Sullivan, IL homeowner about encapsulating the crawl space of their home. They had tons of moisture and a musty smell coming from the crawl space into their home so they knew it was time to encapsulate. Here are some job progress photos of the installation of the vapor barrier and waterproofing system we installed.

Dehumidifier

We installed our small but mighty dehumidifier. It eliminates damp, musty odors from the crawl space and dries and filters the air.

Wrapper Piers

We wrap the piers the crawl space so that everything is air tight and waterproofed.

Crawl Space Sump Pump

The crawl space sump pump is specifically designed for smaller spaces. This one has a battery backup connected to it to keep the system pumping in the event there is a power outage.

Vapor Barrier

Our vapor barrier is a heavy 20 mil thick, 7 layer blend of high density puncture resistant material that is fitted and installed throughout the entire crawl space of your home.
