Homeowners in Swansea, Illinois reached out to us after experiencing damp carpets throughout their home due to moisture in the crawl space beneath. After meeting with the owners for their free estimate, we found water pooling in the crawl space with a lot of moisture causing the damp carpeting. Here are some job progress photos of how we encapsulated the crawl space and replaced some insulation for this homeowner.

Water Damage

The moisture in the crawl space was so bad it was making the insulation start to sag.

New Insulation

The silver insulation towards the top of the photo was installed after taking out the old insulation. This insulation will help reduce their energy bill because it also acts as a sealant.
