Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: CleanSpace Encapsulation System in Mattoon, IL
Mattoon, Illinois homeowner Cortney J. was troubled by her wet, moldy crawl space and basement. Water leaked into the spaces beneath her home where the floor meets the wall and through the block foundation. System Design Specialist Chris T. designed a solution to keep her basement and crawl space dry.
WaterGuard, Twin Pack, IceGuard, and CleanSpace were installed in the basement and crawl space. WaterGuard is a perimeter drainage system that collects and guides water to the Twin Pack sump pump system. IceGuard was installed to the exterior discharge line to provide an exit for water in the event that the lines become frozen or clogged. Lastly, CleanSpace, an inorganic vapor barrier, was installed. Because it is inorganic, CleanSpace does not support mold growth.
The combination of these systems will keep Cortney's basement and crawl space dry.
