In Savoy, Illinois homeowner William J. was worried about his wet, damp crawl space. He had noticed in recent months that it was sending unwanted smells into his home above, causing him to finally call around for some estimates. He decided to have Woods Basement Systems seal and waterproof his crawl space after a pleasant interaction with our System Design Specialist. Our foreman Michael Rebenstorff and his team waterproofed the space by installing our SmartSump Sump Pump System. Next, they sealed the space by lining the floors and walls with our CleanSpace liner. Finally, they installed covers over the vents from the outside, keeping the space completely sealed from the earth.

Damp Crawl Space

In the crawl space, the floor was wet and damp.

Vent Covers

Outside of the home, we installed covers over the vents to completely seal the space from the outside.

WaterGuard

Outside of the home, our team installed WaterGuard. WaterGuard will ensure water will exit the crawl space even if the pipe is frozen or clogged.
