In O’Fallon, Illinois homeowner Patrick J. was concerned about his crawlspace. Recently, he had noticed a smell coming from the space that was moving up into his home. He also noticed that the floor above the crawlspace was sinking in. He knew there had to be a solution to the problem he was facing, so he decided to call Woods Basement Systems. Here at Woods, we have several solutions to any crawlspace problem. We decided to replace the existing liner that the homeowner had with out patented CleanSpace liner. We also wanted to fix the support beams that were causing the floor above to sink into the space. We installed our SmartJacks, to permanently hold the space in position. Next, we replaced the sump pump system with our TripleSafe Sump Pump, to keep the space dry and waterproofed. After the work was done, Patrick had a clean, dry, and stable crawlspace.

This was the existing support post in space, causing the floor above to sink in.

Before Waterproofing

Before waterproofing the space, the owner had a thin liner covering the dirt floor that wasn't helping much to keep the space clean and dry.

TripleSafe

We installed our TripleSafe sump pump system into the space to pump the water out of the home.

CleanSpace

Before installing the CleanSpace liner on the floor of the space, we installed a dimpled polyethylene membrane, which allows water to flow to the sump pump.

Stable Support with SmartJacks

We installed our SmartJack system to stabilize and support the crawlspace and replace the existing support posts.

Waterproofed Crawlspace
