In Charleston, Illinois homeowner Elise O. recently visited her crawlspace and was shocked by how damp and dirty it has become over the years. Wanting to use the space for extra storage, she decided to call Woods Basement Systems to find a solution for her crawl space. Our foremen Jesse Crotser and his team had the perfect solution to waterproof her crawl space, so she can use it for storage. To completely seal the crawl space, they used several items such as; SmartSump, CleanSpace, IceGuard, and Vent Guards. With all these items working together, Elise can now use her crawl space for storage and will not have to worry about the items being damaged by water.

IceGuard System

In this photo, we see the IceGuard system installed, as well as the piping system running beneath the concrete. Now, the homeowner will not have to worry about water being sent out near the foundation.

Pump Discharge

Sump Pump

Before this homeowner called Woods, they had a sump pump that was not draining the water like it should be. Now with our UltraSump, the homeowner has reassurance that the crawl space will be dry and clean.
