Melting Snow
Once spring has sprung, this snow was melting into the home's crawl space. This homeowner grew concerned about the area, so he reached out to Woods Basement Systems to have a professional look over the space.
Current Condition
The crawl space was not in the safest condition. The area did have a tarp in place, but it didn't block out harmful outer elements like critters, dirt, water, and debris.
CleanSpace Installed
Just look at the beautiful CleanSpace encapsulation system! This vapor barrier system is installed up the walls and on the floor to seal the crawl space completely.
Inorganic Materials
Why is it essential to have inorganic materials in a crawl space? Inorganic materials won't allow mold development. The lowest area in your home is the most susceptible to water leaks, so utilizing inorganic materials is essential.
UltraSump Pump
Along with the CleanSpace encapsulation system, a new sump pump was installed to pump out possible water leaks.
SaniDry™ Sedona™ Crawl Space Dehumidifier
A SaniDry dehumidifier was installed to keep the air in this crawl space fresh and clean. Most homeowners don't know that the air that you breathe throughout the entire house first starts in the lowest area in the home.
Discharge Line
To go along with the new UltraSump system, Team Woods installed a discharge line to carry out the pesky water leaks.
Vent Cover
To prevent water from leaking inside, a vent cover was installed over the crawl space vent.
