Fallen Insulation
Once Team Woods entered into this Swansea, Illinois crawl space they immediately noticed the fallen insulation. This space was unkept because the homeowner avoided this area of the house.
Messy Tarp
The crawl space did have a tarp to protect the crawl space from water and unwanted critters. The issue with this tarp is that it is made out of organic materials that don't block out water and can easily move and tear.
Flooded
This crawl space would also flood during heavy rains. The crawl space did have a sump pump, but it wasn't able to handle the amount of water that would sneak inside.
Step One
Team Woods first had to take out the debris, fallen insulation, and tarp to clean up the crawl space and start fresh.
Mat Liner
Before installing the CleanSpace encapsulation system, head foreman Jesse C. and his team laid down a mat liner to help prevent water from entering into the home.
Replacement
After the drainage mat liner was laid down, the team then replaced the old sump pump with a new TripleSafe sump pump.
Completed Look
The results speak itself! The CleanSpace encapsulation system has been installed on the floors and walls to protect the crawl space from harmful outer elements while also giving the area a brand new look!
TripleSafe Sump
The beautiful new TripleSafe sump pump has finally been installed. This dependable sump pump will ensure that if any water enters into the crawl space, it will be pumped right back out.
Spray Foam
Remember the old insulation? This crawl space won't have any more fallen insulation. The new spray foam will keep the crawl space insulated without the possible mess.
