Jennifer's crawl space in Coffeen, Illinois experienced flooding, so she needed a quick and permanent solution. A Woods' specialist gave Jennifer the recommendation of a CleanSpace matting drainage system to keep water and moisture out of the crawl space. Head foreman of the project, Mike J., worked with his team to install the matting onto the floors of the crawl space. In this album, you will see the project before the installment began.

Pre-Production

Water damage throughout the entire crawl space was the weakening the foundation of the home. Looking at the back wall, continuous water leaks were negatively impacting the brick walls.

Muddy Floors

The crawl space also didn't have a barrier from the outer elements. A dirt floor can invite unwanted critters when water leaks turn the floor into mud.

Dirty Space

On the other side of the crawl space, the moisture in the air gave off a musty smell.

Insulation Installed

Along with the CleanSpace mats, the ceiling of the crawl space was insulated to keep the upper levels of the home at a consistent temperature.

Why CleanSpace Drainage Mats?

To keep water out of the crawl space, the CleanSpace drainage mats will be installed on top of the floor. These drains will collect the water leaks and send them to the crawl space sump pump. Keeping water out of the crawl space will prevent structural damage and smelly area.
