Crawl Space Leaks
Inside the crawl space, the homeowner noticed that water would leak in through the vent. The water leaks were also evident because of the water stains left on the walls.
Hydrostatic Pressure
One of the many issues that derived in this basement was cracking caused by hydrostatic pressure. Hydrostatic pressure is the pressure placed on the wall due to the saturated soil surrounding the basement. Hydrostatic pressure is extremely powerful and can lead to wall cracks.
Water Damage
As you can see, water has previously leaked into the crawl space leaving behind water damage. To solve this issue, CleanSpace would soon be placed on the floor and walls to seal the crawl space from potential water damage.
Mold Developing
Water inside the crawl space can lead to mold development. After investigating the area, Team Woods noticed the beginning of mold development. Mold is harmful because it will impact the quality of air and harm the structure of the foundation.
Why CleanSpace?
Just using a tarp will not protect the crawl space against water leaks, mold, or debris. Instead, a CleanSpace encapsulation system will completely seal the crawl space from the outer elements that had previously created problems within the area.
