Poor Insulation
Moisture from inside the crawl space collects in the insulation and make it heavy so eventually it drops free from the floor and lets the cold air get up and into the room above.
Floor Access
Getting in and out of the crawl space was through this small opening. The materials used for this installation are measured, sized,and passed into the crawl space. Rolled up is the floor mat we use under the CleanSPACE™ floor vapor barrier.
Floor Mat
This material allows for water drainage under the vapor barrier and is installed between the dirt crawl space floor and the white vapor barrier.
Completely Air Sealed
Now the whole Swansea IL crawl space is sealed and encapsulated to keep the bad crawl space air from getting up and into the home.
Walls Sealed
To control moisture from coming into the crawl space through the walls, they too are sealed.
