Recycle in a Wet Crawl Space
Once the water gets inside of the crawl space it will eventually evaporate. In the summer with the AC running the moister vapor condenses back into water on the duct work and drips back onto the plastic vapor barrier and is recycled over and over again from water to moisture vapor and back to droplets of water on the duct work.
Crawl Space Mat
A dimpled sheet material is installed over the dirt crawl space floor. Next, the walls are covered with a vapor barrier too.
CleanSPACE™ Covering the Floor
The CleanSPACE™ is installed across the entire crawl space floor and sealed to the vapor barrier installed vertically on the foundation walls.
Corner SmartSUMP™
In the lowest corner of the crawl space, the sump pump is installed to remove excessive water that can no longer linger and evaporate up into the home or support mold growth.
SmartSUMP™ for Crawl Space
This specially designed crawl space sump pump come with an air tight lid so moisture vapor cannot escape and get back into the crawl space. The red seal around the vertical sump pump discharge line make the lid air tight too.
Radon Floor Drain
Included in the lid is a radon approved floor drain for condensations lines. Water can enter the sump pump but air cannot get out.
Plumbing Alarm
The floor drain is surrounded by a curb so that water can only leak into the sump pump from above through a single opening. In front of that opening is an alarm to notify the homeowner of a leak from on top of the CleanSPACE™, typically caused by a plumbing leak.
