Dorothy of Carrollton, Illinois noticed that her crawl space was experiencing flooding and mold growth. She decided to call Woods Basement Systems to find a solution to this on-going issue. She later spoke with system design specialist, John S., to discuss what her best options were. John recommended installing a CleanSpace encapsulation system in her crawl space. Musty Crawl Space

This space was in need of a clean up! On the walls you can see this area is no stranger to water stains and mold residue.

Messy Space

When the tarp is no longer covering the area, the dirt floor is left with no barrier. This means that unwanted critters, water, and mold has easy access into the crawl space.

Fallen Insulation

Not only does this area not have a usable tarp, but the insulation has also fallen apart. This is problematic because now the insulation is not serving its purpose to maintain the heat and comfort of the home.

Mold on the Ceiling

On the wood that is supporting the crawl space, there is a film of mold covering it!
