Anita, a Cuba, Missouri homeowner, knew her crawl space needed some care. She gave Woods Basement Systems a call and Team Woods designed a plan to fix her needs. Foreman Josh B. and his crew installed the CleanSpace and spray foam in the crawl space. They also installed SmartJacks where the brick supports were beginning to fail. CleanSpace is our inorganic vapor barrier. Since it is inorganic mold cannot use it as a source of food. It keeps moisture and critters out of the space, giving you peace of mind. The spray foam insulation sealed any small holes and created a barrier for the HVAC system from the air. This will save you money and create cleaner air. The SmartJacks replacing weak bricks increases the safety and stability of the home and their steel assembly will not rust. Anita now has a crawl space she doesn't have to be scared of and she knows it isn't increasing her energy usage.

Dirt Crawl Space

This space looks like it could be the home for a lot of creatures. It is an area that is home to many mold spores and allergens. By cleaning up and drying out this space we will increase the air quality throughout the home.

Falling Insulation

After CleanSpace Install

Cinder block supports are not all bad. If they are in good shape and in an area where they will not be disturbed they can be fine. The CleanSpace on the dirt floors here is going to keep moisture and critters out of the area and increase the usability of the space.

Spray Foam on HVAC and Floor Joists

By spray foaming the HVAC and ceiling in a crawl space, we can seal the little gaps that can cause a lot of problems. Also by covering the HVAC and other piping we can increase energy savings because the water vapor condensing on the pipe changes the temperature of the air inside.
