4 slab seams
The expansion joint and sealant were weathered away so rain was getting beneath the concrete and shifting it apart. Stopping the water and leveling the patio was the most important issue for this Afton Missouri homeowner.
Settling Slabs
The worst section being uneven were located on the back half of the patio and the slab seams need to be resealed to stop water from leaking below.
Step Extension Slab
While the slab pour with the step were only slightly tipping with the settling patio, this Afton Homeowner want to make sure it stayed stable. Sealing the gap between the slabs were important too for a total repair to the entire project.
PolyLEVEL™ two line injetion hose
Once the slab holes are drilled through, then the injection ports are added and lifting material pumped below the patio slabs.
Post Application Pattern
Every small "bubble" of lifting foam is the pattern for where each hole were drilled through the concrete slab.
Smallest Drill Bit
We use a very small drill bit so as to make it easier to hide the pattern used for lifting uneven concrete patios.
Sealing the slab seam next
Once the concrete is stable and level, we will seal all the seams to stop water from leaking below the concrete.
