Before Installation: Uneven Concrete
Uneven concrete can pose a tripping hazard. Here you can see that this slab has sunken a bit and now the landing and sidewalk are at different heights.
After Installation: PolyLevel Injected
In order to lift the concrete, PolyLevel, a high-density expanding foam, is injected underneath the slab through small holes to directly lift the slab from underneath.
After Installation: Lifted and Leveled
After the foam is injected, it cures and hardens into a light-weight, yet extremely strong material. The curing process only takes about 15 minutes, so this homeowner can regain use of this high-traffic area in a short amount of time.
After Installation: Covered Up and Ready to Go
Here you can see that the sidewalk and slab are now at the same level and no longer pose a tripping hazard. Once the PolyLevel is cured, the holes are filled back in with concrete. Once the concrete dries, the injection sites blend in with the rest of the concrete slab!
