Concrete Lifting and Leveling Photo Album: PolyLevel Lifts Porch and Garage Floor in Warrenton, Missouri
Customer, David C. of Warrenton, Missouri experienced a sinking floor in his garage and a cracked concrete porch, so he decided to call woods Basement Systems. Systems design specialist, Peter N. recommended installing PolyLevel.
Foreman, Matthew R. installed the product. PolyLevel is made of a polyurethane formula, or foam-like substance that expands underneath the concrete to lift it back to its original position. It works to permanently lift and stabilize sinking concrete slabs. How it works is first, small, dime-sized holes are drilled into the concrete slab and then the polymer is injected into the void. The holes are then covered with cement and within 15 minutes of installation, the concrete can be used again, so there is no long cure time.
Now David C. can enjoy his safe garage and porch again.
Uneven Floor
As shown form the photo, the floor of the garage was four inches lower than the basement of the floor. That is caused by major settling over time.
Driveway
Additionally, the garage floor and the start of the driveway did not line up together.
Entryway Leveled
The driveway and garage floor now meet and can be sealed together.
Porch Cracks
A large crack formed on the porch.
Cracks Fixed
PolyLevel lifted the concrete to where the cracks can be sealed.
