PolyLEVEL Foam Levels Uneven Sidewalks!
Here's an example of an uneven sidewalk in a residential area. Unfortunately this is an all too common site in this part of the country with freezing and thawing of the ground. The good news is that Woods Basement Systems has a product that is cost effective, noninvasive, and has minimal down time. PolyLEVEL foam is injected through a penny size hole in the concrete, fills the void underneath the concrete slab, and lifts it back to it's original position.
Uneven Driveway Lifted by PolyLEVEL Foam!
Another common site because of freezing and thawing is uneven driveways. Water can puddle when it rains, uneven cracks can be a tripping hazard, and if left untreated can become hard to drive over. PolyLEVEL foam has no problem lifting larger slabs of concrete to their original position. The other great feature of PolyLEVEL is that it is eco friendly and does not secrete toxic chemicals into the surrounding soil.
Emergency Highway Repair Using PolyLEVEL Foam
Another great application of PolyLEVEL foam is that because it does not have trouble lifting LARGE slabs of concrete it can be used to lift sinking sections of highways. This photo is from a recent pairing of Woods with the Illinois Department of Transportation to repair a dangerous section of I-64 in O'Fallon, IL. Using PolyLEVEL instead of replacing the existing concrete was a fraction of the cost, and only 4 hours of down time vs 2 weeks.
Missouri Highway Repair Using PolyLEVEL Foam
Before Woods partnered with IDOT we repaired a section of I-270 in Missouri. These repairs were done over night to keep from backing up rush-hour traffic. Regular, safe traffic flow continued that morning after the installation of the PolyLEVEL foam.
