Collinsville, IL - PolyLEVEL Injection Used to Rise Porch and Driveway
Challenge
Homeowner Larry of Collinsville lives in an older housing area and realized he really needed to get his porch and driveway fixed because he was concerned the uneven slabs of concrete would cause somebody to fall and hurt him or herself. Because his driveway was unleveled, one of the slabs was cracking. He knew he couldn't get the job done himself, and he definitely didn't want to replace all of the concrete slabs if he could avoid it so he contacted Woods Basement Systems, Inc. to have someone assess the damage and see if his concrete is salvageable. After communicating with Woods Basement Systems, Inc., the company sent one of their System Design Specialists, David F., to survey Larry's home. David determined that Larry needed PolyLEVEL to raise his porch and driveway a few inches in order to return them to their original levels.
Solution
After learning more about PolyLEVEL from David, Larry felt that the specialist's diagnosis was exactly what his concrete slabs needed, and once the contract was signed and a date was established, Woods Basement Systems, Inc. sent their PolyLEVEL team, Dave G. and Jeff B., to Larry's home a week later to inject the PolyLEVEL. Dave and Jeff drilled nine penny-sized holes into Larry's front porch and his driveway and spent roughly two hours injecting PolyLEVEL underneath the concrete slabs. The porch was raised about two inches, and the driveway was re-leveled once the PolyLEVEL solidified. As Jeff started cleaning up their materials, Dave filled the holes with cement and smoothed them down.
Larry noticed the difference right away and thought Dave and Jeff did a fantastic job.
