Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Waterproopfing A Basement In Kirkwood, MO
A basement in Kirkwood, Missouri, needed some water issues corrected. Woods came out and installed a few products to improve these wet conditions. The first install was a new WaterGuard System. Specialized piping is installed directly into the floor to avoid issues from clogging. These pipes will collect water they find and direct it to a nearby sump pump for removal. The next install then was a new sump pump. The sump pump in question, the TripleSafe Sump Pump, is a top of the line product. It has not one, but two pumps designed to hold steady in the face of large amounts of water. If for some reason these pumps can't keep up or fail for some reason, the UltraSump sump pump will pick up the slack. It is a battery-operated pump that will turn on in the event of a power outage. The last installation were sump pump discharge lines. The IceGuard pictured has special holes to prevent frozen pipes. They will direct the water into the yard, far from the home's perimeter. With these installs in place, this home is sure to stay much dryer for years to come!
