While there was a sump pump previously placed, it was longer efficiently keeping water out of the basement. Woods came out and first installed new french drains to catch the water. The WaterGuard System is a specialized piping system that sits inside the floor to avoid issues from clogging. It collects and directs water seepage to the sump pump nearby. With this install in place, Woods could then direct their attention to the sump pump. The TripleSafe Sump Pump is a top-of-the-line system, with multiple pumps to ensure no amount of water is too much to remove. Also included in this install is an UltraSump sump pump. This is a battery-operated sump pump that will activate in the event of a power outage or if the other two pumps can't keep up. The last install was the IceGuard System. This piece of the sump pump discharge line had specially created holes to prevent issues commonly seen with frozen or clogged pipes. With these installs in place, this basement is sure to remain dry for many years to come!
