Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Waterproofing A Basement In Saint Louis, MO
A basement in Saint Louis, Missouri, needed some waterproofing work done to manage water seepage coming in. A sump pump was previously placed to manage the water, but it has since stopped performing efficiently. Woods came in and first installed a drain system to catch the water and direct it to the sump pump. The WaterGuard System does just that. It consists of plastic piping that is laid directly on top of the soil instead of in it. This prevents blockage from debris or dirt. They then installed a new sump pump. The TripleSafe Sump Pump System is a top of the line system, with multiple pumps to ensure that no amount of water is too much to remove. This particular sump also includes the UltraSump Battery. This extra pump will kick on in the event of a power outage. The last two installs were new sump pump discharge lines. These will ensure the water is released far from the home's perimeter. With these installs in place, this home should be dry for many years to come.
