Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Waterproofing a Leaking Basement in Bethany, IL
Water was leaking from a basement window in Bethany, IL, and the sump pump was failing to remove the water. To solve these issues, a WellDuct System was first installed. This is a channel placed on the inside of the basement below the window that will carry water from a leaking window to the WaterGuard Drainage System. This perimeter drainage system will catch wall seepage and drain it toward the TripleSafe Sump Pump System, draining water from WaterGuard and below the basement and discharging it from the house. This system also includes an UltraSump battery backup system, which turns on if the power goes out, and effectively pumps out the water. Next, the IceGuard Sump Pump Discharge System was installed. The patented design of this system automatically allows water to escape through its perforations when pipe terminations are blocked, usually by ice or snow. Thanks to these systems, this basement will stay dry all the time!
