Water was entering a window well in Granite City, IL, and it was leaking into the basement. To solve these issues, a SunHouse Basement Window Enclosure was first installed. This system gives an attractive, bright, and clean solution that keeps rain out, prevents weeds from growing inside, and reflects natural light into the basement. Next, a WellDuct was installed. This will drain water from the window well and into the WaterGuard System, which will then guide it to the TripleSafe Sump Pump System. This system can handle a heavy flow of water, thanks to a second pump that will help eliminate the eater if the first one is unable to keep up with the amount of water that is entering it. It also includes an UltraSump battery backup system which turns on if the power goes out and effectively pumps out the water. Thanks to these systems, this basement will remain clean and stay dry for years to come!
