Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Leaking Window Repaired with WellDuct in Saint Louis, MO Basement
A basement window was leaking water in Saint Louis, MO, and causing some damage. To resolve this issue, a WellDuct was installed below the window to drain water that enters the well down to WaterGuard. These drainage pipes intercept water at the perimeter of the basement and drain it toward the TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which will drain water from WaterGuard and below the basement and discharge it out of the house. This system also includes an UltraSump battery backup system, which turns on if the power goes out and effectively pumps out the water. A SaniDry Sedona was also installed. This high-capacity, high-efficiency dehumidification system also includes an air filtration system, all in a single unit. This system wrings the air dry, and its powerful blower moves the dry air in and around the basement. It also automatically drains the water it catches into the sump system, so there is no need to empty any bucket with this system. Next, the IceGuard Sump Pump Discharge System was installed. These discharge lines will allow water to escape if the pipes freeze over or become blocked for any reason. Lastly, a LawnScape Outlet was installed. This connects the downspout to a special extension sending water away from the foundation while camouflaging the end of the pipe. This basement will remain dry and clean for years to come thanks to these systems!
