Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Water Leaking out of Basement Window Eliminated with WellDuct in Smithton, IL
A basement window was leaking water in Smithton, IL, and pooling onto the floor. To solve this issue, Woods installed a WellDuct Window Well Drain, which establishes a drain from the window well to the WaterGuard System, which is an interior drainage system along the perimeter of the basement floor that intercepts water and drains it towards the sump system to be pumped out of the house. An UltraSump was added onto the existing sump system that will turn on if the power goes out and continue pumping water out. Next, the IceGuard Sump Pump Discharge System was installed. These discharge lines will allow water to escape if the pipes freeze over or become blocked for any reason. Lastly, a LawnScape Outlet was installed. This connects the downspout to a special extension sending water away from the foundation while camouflaging the end of the pipe. This basement will remain dry and clean for years to come thanks to these systems!
