Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Failing Sump System Replaced with TripleSafe in Saint Louis, MO
A basement in Saint Louis, MO was leaking water, and the current sump system was not pumping out the water as it should. It also didn't have a lid, so moisture was entering the basement. Both of these issues allowed mold to grow on the walls and floors. To solve these issues, Woods installed a TripleSafe Sump Pump System. This sump system assures protection from all three problems that can occur with an ordinary pump. This system has a removable airtight lid which reduces noise, prevents objects from falling in, and keeps moisture, insects, and order from coming out of the sump. It can also handle a heavy flow of water, thanks to a second pump that will help eliminate the water if the first pump can't keep up. The IceGuard Sump Pump Discharge System was also installed to allow water to escape if the pipes freeze or become blocked for any reason. Lastly, a LawnScape Outlet was installed. This connects the downspout to a special extension sending water away from the foundation while camouflaging the end of the pipe. This basement will remain dry and clean for years to come thanks to these systems!
