A Madison, IL basement was having problems with water leaking from the windows and down the walls, so Woods first installed the WaterGuard Perimeter Drainage System. These pipes intercept water at the wall and floor joint of the basement and drain it towards the TripleSafe Sump System, which was also installed to pump the water away from the house. This advanced sump pump system will remain working even if there is no power to the house, thanks to the UltraSump battery backup pumping system. A WellDuct was also installed underneath the basement window to drain any water that enters it to WaterGuard. Next, the IceGuard Sump Pump Discharge System was installed to allow water to escape if the pipes freeze over or are blocked for any reason. Lastly, a LawnScape Outlet was installed. This underground downspout extension for sump pump discharge lines will allow water to be drained out farther from the house. This basement will stay dry and clean for years to come thanks to these systems!

IceGuard will allow water to escape if the pipes are blocked. Otherwise, it will exit through the extended downspout away from the house.
