Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Damp Basement Solutions for New Madrid, Missouri Residents

A New Madrid, Missouri homeowner contacted us because part of their home was on a crawl space and the other part is a basement and they noticed moisture in there. They requested a free estimate and after meeting with the homeowner, we waterproofed the basement installing a french drain system around the perimeter of the basement, encapsulated the crawl space area, installed a new sump pump system, and trench drains near the entrance. Here are some job progress photos from our Foreman and crew.

The vent covers are opened because the space is not encapsulated. Once we encapsulate the crawl space, we will install vent covers to seal it up.

Wrapped Piers

We wrap the piers in a crawl space also. This ensures the entire area is encapsulated and moisture can't ruin the piers.

Here we installed a vapor barrier on the walls to trap any moisture behind it and lead it below to the perimeter waterproofing system which will then lead it away from the house.
