Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: French Drain System for Springfield, Illinois Basement

We were contacted by a Springfield, MO homeowner about water seeping into the basement of their home and how they were wanting a free estimate. We met with the owner and discussed the different waterproofing solutions we can offer them. We installed a perimeter french drain system and tied everything into the current sump pump already existing in the basement. Here are some job progress photos of the installation.

Wall Flange

The gap between the wall and floor is created by our wall flange which is part of our perimeter waterproofing system. It captures wall seepage and directs it to the perimeter system to be taken away from the house.

Access Port

The access port allows us to service and flush the system when needed.

An aerial view of the wall flange and perimeter system. Any water that seems in from the wall will be captured by the system below before it hits the basement floor.

Getting Ready

Getting ready to lay the system around the perimeter but we first jackhammer the concrete out. To keep your basement clean from dust and debris from our work, we hang sheets around your belongings like you see here.

Before Waterproofing
