We were contacted by a homeowner in Waterloo, IL about water seeping into the basement where the wall and floor meet. After meeting with the owner, we installed a sillplate draintile, exterior sump pump, and a 90 foot drainage line installed underground. Here are some progress photos that our crew took while out on the project.

Where Water Leaks

A view of where the water is seeping in at. This spot is known as a cove joint, otherwise known as where the wall and floor meet.

Sillplate Draintile

A view after the sillplate draintile has been placed. Part of why our systems are no clog, is because we use rock to lay them on and cover them with.

Exterior Sump Pump

The exterior sump pump after installation. The sillplate draintile feeds right into the sump pump to carry water away from the house.

Before Waterproofing

A look at the side where water was coming in before we installed the sillplate draintile waterproofing system.

Discharge Line

Our discharge lines are installed underground and are meant to carry water away from the home. The grate you see towards the bottom of the photo is our drain cover and is designed to keep debris and critters from getting into the system.
