Access Ports
The grey plastic pieces on either side of this room are access ports for the system. We use those to service and flush the system.
Vapor Barrier
We installed our vapor barrier over the walls where water was coming in. This vapor barrier will direct the water down into the system, carry it to the sump pump, and then away from the house.
Appliance Waterproofing
We installed our waterproofing system around the furnace to keep any water from getting in it.
Discharge Lines
The discharge lines lead to the outside where we run them underground.
New Sump Pump
Our TripleSafe sump pump was installed which comes with three pumps, three stands, water watch alarm, and battery backup for the system in case the home loses power.
Before Waterproofing
You can see where water has been on the floor of the basement. Here is a view of the sump pump pit and furnace before we installed our perimeter french drain waterproofing system.
Water Damage
A view of some of the damage water causes when there isn't a waterproofing system installed in the basement. It is also a great way for mold to start growing.
Stairs Before
A view of the stairs before we installed our vapor barrier to keep this section from getting anymore water damage than it already has.
Stairs After Waterproofing
This area will no longer flood when it rains because of this waterproofing system.
