Trench Drain
We installed a trench drain system around the water heater to prevent any water seepage from getting on the basement floor or ruining the water heater.

By creating a space between the floor and the wall, the wall flange allows wall seepage to drain while keeping debris out.
Old Sump Pump

Rock Bed
Our system doesn't sit in dirt which is why it doesn't clog from silt or sediment. Our system lays on a bed of rock as you can see here.
