Outside Basement Entrance Before
During heavy rains, there was no place for the water to go because the drains installed could not keep up with the amount they were receiving. Can you see the drain down there?
Where Basements Leak
You can see where water was seeping into the basement through cracks in the foundation.
New Underground Discharge Line
We installed two discharge lines for this project. One for the drainage system near the outside entrance of the basement, and one for the new sump pump system we installed.
New Underground Discharge Line Cont...
This is the other underground discharge line we installed. This one is for the new sump pump system to keep water away from the house.
Triple Safe Sump Pump
The new sump pump system we installed has three stands with pumps to keep the heaviest rains out of your basement. The black box on the floor next to the sump pump pit is a battery backup. If the power goes out, your system will still work!
New Discharge Line
We bury our discharge lines for a cleaner look. The cap you see here is to keep the lines from freezing during frigid temperatures.
Old Drain Cover
A shot of the drain system near the outside landing of the basement entrance. The basement was taking on water because this drain could not keep up with the amount of rain and it had nowhere to go.
Perimeter Waterproofing Solutions
Here is a look at our finished waterproofing system. We install plastic tubing underneath the floor for a more discreet design.
Basement Door Solutions
An exterior sump pump system and trench drain were installed on the outside entrance of the basement to capture any water from pooling there and direct it to the perimeter waterproofing system and then away from the house.
