Perimeter Basement Waterproofing
For interior basement waterproofing, a small section of the basement floor is removed and our clog-free system is installed to take the water building up and leaking in the basement to our sump pump systems. Keeping the water level low and not allowing hydrostatic pressure to build up controls basements from leaking up from floor cracks and at the foundation wall and concrete floor seam.
Old 2 part system
Pictured is a combination piece of an old footing drain that was designed to help water leak at the foundation wall/ FOOTING concrete seam and into the sub-floor drainage. Typically, the sub-floor system which may or may not have rock or a filter wrap to control mud from clogging over time, is exactly what occurred in this basement. Our clog-free system solves this problem.
Vertical Drainage
For vertical leaks, from window well drains or other wall leaks, our closed drainage system will control wall seepage and as featured here, is sealed and mechanically fastened to the basement wall.
Closed Vertical Drain
Featured is our closed vertical drain system so all water vapor or other gases cannot escape back into the basement.
Installed and Re-Concrete
Finished waterproofing system.
Re-concrete the waterproofing system.
Once our waterproofing system is set we re-concrete the basement floor. NOTE: the wood studs needed to be cut and removed for this work to be accomplished.
Leaking Floor Cracks
The floor crack closest to the white bucket had heaved up somewhat so it is slightly higher than the perimeter basement floor at the wall. Therefore, as the water builds up under the floor, the hydrostatic pressure, caused the water to leak up through the floor and along the wall and floor seam. A full wall perimeter waterproofing system takes the water to a sump pump and keeps the basement dry.
Sump Pump Systems
For this complete basement waterproofing system, our double sump pump system is installed with two pumps and two sump pump discharge lines.
