Close Up of our 2nd Device
This extension of our basement waterproofing systems allows for drainage of the leaking water to get into our piping systems and to the sump pump.
Digging a Sump Pump Pit
The sump pump pit is the location for the sump systems and basin. Here is where the leaking water is drained and pumped out of the home.
2nd Waterproofing Device
This foundation wall was poured off-center and also had a thinner concrete basement floor on top of the footing. We are using a two-piece waterproofing system to control the basement leak at the wall and floor seam.
Moving Basement Items
Items in the basement need to be moved to the center so we have access to the work area along the basement wall. Stairsteps typically need to be removed to jackhammer a small section of the basement floor for our waterproofing system.
Specialized Basement Waterproofing
Our waterproofing system is poured back with the basement floor once a small section is removed. When necessary because of a thinner concrete basement floor poured onto the footing, we need to use a second waterproofing device. The basement wall rests on top of the basement footing.
Customized Waterproofing
When a home's construction is off, thinner concrete floor and off-centered foundation wall, we have the right products to customized a complete and functional basement waterproofing system to keep this Florissant, MO basement dry!
Drainage Rock
Rock leaves gaps that allow leaking water to get into our waterproofing system and is all taken to the sump pump to be removed to the outside. This is also referred to as a pressure relief system (Hydrostatic Pressure) so the basement floor will remain dry.
