Trenching the perimeter of the basement
To install the basement waterproofing piping, a section of the basement floor is jackhammered and removed. In place appliances that can not be moved, our system will work even if we go around the obstacle.
Thinner Basement Concrete Floor
If some sections of the basement floor are thin, we move our waterproofing pipe to inside the front of the footing, still being encapsulated into the basement floor re-pour. On top of the footing, we install a device to allow the seepage from the stone wall to get to the waterproofing systems and drain to the sump pumps.
Boiler
This appliance was set off the stone foundation wall far enough that we could go in behind it, however, the hot water heater needed to be moved to waterproof the basement at the wall and floor seam.
Moving items away from the basement walls
In a few circumstances, with plenty of wet items in a basement, removing these items needs to occur prior to our work.
Removed Wall on One By Ones
The previously finished basement was attached to 1 X 1 in front of the stone foundation. Water seepage over time and active leaks damaged the wall covering and the bottom of the wood studs.
