Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Water Leaking in Bethalto, IL Basement Stopped with WaterGuard, UltraSump & CleanSpace
Pablo from Bethalto, Illinois reached out to Woods Basement Systems out of concern that water would continuously leak into his basement. Pablo worked with system design specialist, Chris T., who worked with Pablo to find suitable options that would prevent water from damaging his basement. The final products selected were WaterGuard drains, an UltraSump pump, and a CleanSpace encapsulation system.
All three products were installed by head foreman, Tyler S., and his team of installers. Team Woods installed a WaterGuard drainage system into the footing of the basement walls along with an UltraSump to pump out the water leaks. The CleanSpace encapsulation system that was installed on the walls to protect them and to help guide water leaks towards the home's new sump pump. Now with the help of these three top waterproofing products, this basement will continue to remain safe and dry for years to come.
WaterGuard Drains
Next, WaterGuard drains were installed into the floor to collect the water leaks collected. These drains will then take the collected water and move it towards the home's sump pump system.
UltraSump Pump
Finally, an UltraSump sump pump was installed to pump out the water that leaks inside. This double pumping system is dependable year around because if one pump fails, the backup pump will switch on.
Covered
The WaterGuard drains are then covered with a cement layer to seal the system from possible clogging. Once dried, these drains won't be noticeable and will blend into the floor.
CleanSpace System
The first product that was installed was a CleanSpace encapsulation system. This vapor barrier system will block out water leaks and will prevent mold from forming on the walls.
