Several leaks were occuring in different parts of the basement. A complete perimeter basement waterproofing system was installed for this ranch style home. Additionally, due to the large size basement, a lateral drainage line was installed across the basement floor. The lateral line was installed half way along a basement floor crack with also helps prevent floor cracks from leaking. The TripleSAFE™ sump pump system with 3 sump pumps will handle all the water collected and keep the basement dry.

TrenchDrain

A TrenchDrain was installed in front of the door leading outside of the basement.

TripleSAFE™ Sump Pump System

Inside this sump pump system sits 3 sump pumps. Each primary pump has its own discharge line. Additional the 3rd sump pump operates during periods of high water getting the water out of the basement as quickly as possible as well as during power outages.

Outside Sump Pump Discharge Lines

Going to the outside, the two discharge lines meet IceGUARDS™, designed as ejection ports for frozen and clogged pipes. That way, for an emergency situation, the water once pumped from the sump pump system will always be exited to the outside and not back up into the basement.
