Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Waterproofing System Restores Home Value in Saint Louis, MO
Leaky basements can bring down a homes value and scare off potential buyers. Rachel W. knew this so when she was representing a property in Saint Louis , MO that had stains from years of water intrusion and cracks in the walls that leaked, she called Woods Basement Systems. Design Specialist Ryan K. inspected the basement and found the best solution would be a waterproofing system.Woods installed the WaterGuard drainage system along the foundation walls, under the the cement floors. Because it’s an interior drainage system that sits on top of the concrete footing of the home, WaterGuard won’t be clogged by mud or other debris as it collects water from the foundation walls and floors of the basement and drains it to the sump pump.
WaterGuard System
WaterGuard was installed at the floor/wall joint around the perimeter of the basement.
TrenchDrain
A TrenchDrain was installed in front of the door leading outside of the basement.
Sump Pump
A sump pump was installed to work with WaterGuard to ensure any water is sent out of the space.
IceGuard System
IceGuards were installed on the discharge lines on the exterior of the home. They prevent water from backing up into the basement if the lines become frozen during the winter months by allowing it to escape into the yard through its slotted openings.
Before Waterproofing
