Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Waterproofing System Installed in Urbana, Illinois
In Urbana, Illinois homeowner Asher F. was worried about his basement. Everytime it would rain, water would enter his basement where the floor meets the wall and through the cracks of the foundation walls. The sump pump system in his home was also old and not working well, and he wanted to have it replaced. Fortunately, he made the call to Woods Basement Systems and they had the solutions to his rainwater problem.
We sent our foreman Greg Harvie and his team out to the Saint Peters home to install several items to keep the water away from Asher's basement. They installed systems including; IceGuard, WaterGuard, TripleSafe, and CleanSpace. These items are all patented to help ensure that the basement stays dry from any rainwater that may try to enter the home.
WaterGuard Design
WaterGuard is designed to capture water seepage through walls and leaks along the wall/floor joint.
WaterGuard System
WaterGuard is nearly invisible when installed.
The Difference of WaterGuard
Unlike conventional French drains that are installed outside the foundation or alongside the footing, WaterGuard drainage piping is installed inside the basement and won't clog with silt or plant roots.
Before Waterproofing
The basement was wet and damaged from leaking rainwater.
