Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Creating a Dry Basement in Saint Louis Home
In Saint Louis, Missouri Annie A. wanted to increase the value of her home before she put it up for sale this summer. She had previously had problems with water damage during wet seasons, and wanted to make sure that this would not be a problem with the home inspector or future homeowners. She decided to call Woods Basement Systems to make sure her basement was dry and secure before placing it on the market.
Our foremen Greg Harvie and his team had the perfect solution to her problem, the WaterGuard System. Installing the WaterGuard system will insure that water will be drained down and out of the basement, instead of into the basement through cracks or where the floor meets the wall. Now, Annie will not have to hide a wet basement; instead, she will have peace of mind that the basement will be clean and dry for homeowners to come.
CleanSpace Liner
Our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier lines the walls of the basement.
TripleSafe System
Here, we show our TripleSafe Sump Pump System. This top-of-the-line system includes airtight sump lid, pump stand, floor drain sump lid, sump liner, and pump alarm.
Installing WaterGuard
In this photo, we can see that the WaterGaurd system has been installed in the basement. The WaterGaurd system is installed on top of the footing, instead of alongside it like most systems.
Before Waterproofing
Here in this photo, we see the cleanup after water has entered the basement in this St. Louis, Missouri home.
