Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Installing WaterGuard

In Springfield, Illinois homeowners Julie and Mike R. needed their basement waterproofed. For years, they had been having problems with rainwater entering their basement where the floor meets the wall. After it would rain or storm, they would have to go down to the basement to check for water and clean it up. Tired of the constant maintenance they were doing in their unfinished basement, they decided to call Woods Basement Systems to see what we could do to help. We sent out our foreman Michael Davies and his team to install our waterproofing system, WaterGuard. WaterGuard can be installed in just one or two days, and does no damage to the inside or outside of the home. It is installed around the perimeter of the basement, on-top of the footing.

Installing WaterGuard

To install WaterGuard, we remove the floor against the foundation walls.

TripleSafe

We installed our TripleSafe sump pump system in the basement of the home to ensure that any water is sent outside.

Installing WaterGuard

WaterGuard is set on top of the footing, keeping the drainage pipe clear of any dirt or debris.

IceGuard

IceGuard is installed outside of the home, it ensures that water is sent out of the home away from the foundation, even if the pipe is clogged or frozen elsewhere.
