In Saint Louis, Missouri homeowner Ann S. was having problems with water leaking into her basement. Her basement was unfinished with concrete walls and flooring and she was noticing water leaking in between where the floor meets the walls and spilling out onto the floor. Ann used her basement as a storage space for any extra items in her home and was concerned about them being damaged or ruined by the rainwater and moisture in the space. She decided to call Woods Basement Systems to see if they had a solution to fix her problem.
We sent our foreman Brett Jones out to the home to install a solution that would solve all of Ann’s problems. The team installed WaterGuard, IceGuard, and BrightWall. With the combination of items working together, Ann will now have a clean, dry crawlspace where she can store her items safely without fear of being damaged.
Trench Drian
A trench drain is a half-round pipe with a grate that fits on-top of it. It is easy to convert between WaterGuard and a trench drain along the perimeter of your floor.
BrightWall
BrightWall paneling stops water vapor form permeating basement walls and drains water down to the WaterGuard system.
TripleSafe
Our TripleSafe was installed in the corner of the space at the lowest point of the home to catch any excess water.
IceGuard and SunHouse Cover
We installed a SunHouse cover over the window to keep water away from any openings and installed our IceGuard to make sure the water was leaving the home even if the drain was frozen or clogged.
Water In Basement
The water was leaking into the home and damaging items that were being stored in the space.
