Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Adding Additional WaterGuard™ Pipes in Sappington
This home in Sappington, MO. experienced leaks in the basement through the tiny gap where the wall meets the floor. Previously, they had hired Woods Basement Systems to install WaterGuard™ along one wall that was particularly leaky. Recently, they rehired Woods Basement Systems to continue to protect the basement by adding additional WaterGuard™ pipes to the existing system.
The WaterGuard™ system is installed just beneath the floor along the wall. From this spot, WaterGuard™ can collect water before it rises high enough to leak into the basement. It can also collect water dripping down from leaks in the walls as well if there are leaks there. The water it collects is directed to the sump pump system. In this home, the sump pump is the TripleSafe™ system. The TripleSafe™ features two main pumps and a battery powered backup pump to keep water flowing out of the home in all weather conditions - even if the power goes out.
Once the new WaterGuard™ lines are installed, they are connected with the existing system and the trench that was dug up for them is recovered with concrete, hiding the system from view. WaterGuard™ will keep the basement protected from outside leaks without hardly being seen.
With the extra WaterGuard™ lines installed, this Sappington, MO. home will now be safer from water damage and leaks.
