Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Basement Waterproofing Using WaterGuard
Homeowners Timothy and Tina J. in Granite City, Illinois were concerned about water entering their basement during the rainy spring season. They had problems in the past with rainwater entering their basement where the floor meets the wall. The couple decided to call Woods Basement Systems to find a solution to waterproof their basement once and for all.
Our foremen Juan Hernandez and his team had the perfect solution to waterproof Timothy and Tina’s home, to waterproof their basement using the existing sump pump system in the home. Our team installed our patented WaterGuard. WaterGuard is our patented waterproofing system, installed on-top of the footing, WaterGuard catches any water running down the walls or water entering between the floor and the wall. The WaterGuard will drain into any existing sump pump system the homeowners may have. Timothy and Tim will no longer have to worry about their basement being flooded or damp during the spring weather.
Here is a gallery after we had installed our WaterGuard System. As we see in the photos, the system is installed without much clean-up, leaving the basement clean and dry.
Existing Sump Pump System
In this photo, we installed the WaterGuard leading to the homeowners existing sump pump system, as they requested.
WaterGuard System
This photo is perfect to show the limited clean-up after installing WaterGuard, leaving the basement dry and brand new.
WaterGuard System
Our patented WaterGuard system is different from other drainage systems. WaterGuard sits on-top of the footing, catching more water and less dirt and rocks.
After Installing WaterGuard System
WaterGuard is installed around the perimeter of the basement, covering every area where the floor meets the wall. The water is then drained up and out of the home, keeping the basement dry for years to come.
