Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Waterproofing a Basement in Brownstown, IL
Homeowners James and Carolyn W. had issues with water leaking in their basement.
To fix the issue, Ben S. and his crew installed several water-proofing measures.
The walls of the basement were incapsulated with the durable and water proof CleanSpace™ system to direct any water seepage out of the basement and into the drainage system.
Noticing that there was a small path where water leaked in from the floor and drained toward the sump pump, Ben S. dug a small channel under the basement floor and installed a tube to allow water to flow from the area where it built up to the sump pump. They then replaced the concrete floor so that there is a smooth, uninterrupted floor with no water running over it.
A new TripleSafe sump pump was installed to keep the basement dry and protected. With it's two pumps and a battery powered third backup pump, the TripleSafe will pump water away even if the power goes out.
James and Carolyn W. are happy with their dry and protected basement.

Water Across the Floor
Water leaked in from where the wall and floor met and ran across the basement to the sump pump in the other corner.
Water Channel
A channel is dug out with a pipe that allows the water to drain from the wall to the pump underneath the floor.
