Homeowner, Bruce, from Webster Groves, Missouri reached out to Woods Basement Systems to waterproof his basement. System design specialist, Mike P., went out to the home to investigate the area to see what solution would best serve the basement. Mike gave the recommendation of installing a WaterGuard drainage system with a TripleSafe sump pump. Together these two waterproofing products would keep the basement healthy and dry.

Storage Basement

This Webster Groves, Missouri basement was used by the homeowner as extra storage space. To keep his possessions safe and dry, he reached out to Team Woods to waterproof his basement.

Outside Look

When looking at the exterior of the house, Team Woods noticed water damage that had been created due to the continuous exposure of water leaks.

Inside Look

Once inside the basement, the signs of water didn't stop. If you look where the walls meet the floor you will notice water residue.

Water Damage

Here is a closer look at the water left on the footing of the basement wall. Although this may seem minor, water will break down the structure of the wall and will cause it to crack or crumble.

TripleSafe

To begin the waterproofing process, a TripleSafe sump pump was installed in the footing of the basement floor. This sump pump will keep water outside by pumped the collected water leaks back outside.

WaterGuard

Along with the TripleSafe sump pump, a WaterGuard drainage system was installed around the perimeter of the room.

Close-Up

The WaterGuard drainage system is installed in the perimeter of the room to collect pesky water leaks. Once the drains collect the leaks, they will be directed towards the new TripleSafe sump pump to then be pumped back outside.
