With no means of protection against water damage, Team Woods installed a CleanSpace encapsulation system onto the walls and floor to seal the space from water. This album will showcase the condition of the basement before and after renovations took place.

Wet Crawl Space

During heavy rains, this crawl space would experience leaks that would create water damage on the walls. Water damage is dangerous because over time, it can lead to structural damage.

Susceptible Tarp

This Alton, IL crawl space did have a tarp, but it was susceptible to mold development and hadn't completely blocked out harmful outer elements.

Sealed & Protected

This CleanSpace encapsulation system is made out of inorganic materials, unlike most vapor barrier systems. Now that this area is protected, water will be kept out of this crawl space and will leave the crawl space safe and healthy.
