Paul from Freeburg, Illinois reached out to Woods Basement Systems to waterproof his susceptible basement. Team Woods sent system design specialist, Jeremy R., who looked over the basement to find an optimal solution to protect this Freeburg, Illinois basement from water damage. Upon inspection, Jeremy recommended installing a WaterGuard drainage system, a TripleSafe sump pump, and BrightWall panels. These three products will work together to not only keep water out of the basement, but they give the homeowner the peace of mind that they deserve knowing that if water were to leak in, the home would be able to defend itself. These products were installed by foreman, Logan B., and his crew. Thanks to Team Woods this basement is ready for use again!

Water Damaged Basement

Once Team Woods walked into this basement, water damage was found on the walls. Water had continuously leaked inside and this had negatively affected the foundation.

Chipping Paint

Water can be very powerful, contrary to belief. The continuous exposure to water had caused the basement walls to chip and peal.

Bowing Walls

Another adverse effect that water exposure had caused was it created destruction in the walls. This wall pictured had even begun to bow and break.

WaterGuard Drains

In the footing, WaterGuard drains were installed to stop water from leaking inside. These drains will direct water leaks towards the TripleSafe sump pump to then be pumped back outside.

BrightWall Panels & TripleSafe Pump

You can also notice the fresh new look the walls have. BrightWall panels were used to clean up and protect the previously water damaged walls. In the corner, the new TripleSafe sump pump was installed to pump out all pesky water leaks that sneak inside.
